| 2012 Meetings and Pricing | (back to top) |
For 2012 we will be at a new location for our Post meetings - the Doubletree Hotel downtown.The Doubletree Hotel, 502 W. Cesar E. Chavez (previously named Durango Blvd), San Antonio, Texas, 78207, is very close to our old location, the Bright Shawl, and located on the other side of I-35 across from the downtown UTSA Campus building. Click HERE for the directions listed on the hotel website. There is FREE parking for our events in the covered garage next to the Hotel. Our meeting room will be the Salon de Gala room (and as a backup location we have the Aztec A&B rooms). Like in the past, we will still have the buffet luncheon. However, there will be a price increase for meetings. The new pricing will be $18 ($13 for Post Young Members making reservations in advance). We've posted our 2012 meeting schedule on our event page for you. Just click the "Mtg Info/Reservations" button in the Site Directory above to go to the meeting reservation page. We're looking forward to working with the Doubletree for our meetings - they are really excited about having us as customers.

Post members and non-members who want to get all the Post, SAME and local items of interest (including job-related news) via email, can also join our our other email list server. To join this email list server, email webmaster@same-satx.org. NOTE: In 2012 we converted to a new email list server (previously we used the same.org server) for this service. As a result of the transfer, many email addresses were purged from this contact list because they were invalid/bounced.
